Gánate el perdón de Allah cada vez que comas!

Imagine having your sins blotted away every time you ate your food. Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it? But that’s precisely what we have been blessed with!

The Prophet salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: He who has taken food and says at the end:

Alhamdu lillahi-lladhee at ‘amani haadha, wa razaqneehi min ghairi hawli minnee wa laa quwwah

(All praise is due to Allah Who has given me food to eat and provided it without any endeavour on my part or any power- all his past sins will be forgiven) [Esto se basa en un hadiz narrado por ‘Abdullaah ibn ‘Abbaas del Profeta en relación con alguien que entra a su esposa mientras ella está en su período de la siguiente manera]

This is a beautiful hadith and an example of Allah’s Mercy to us, even while we are eating. This is because by saying this dua sincerely, you are accepting that only Allah SWT has the power to grant you sustenance which allows you to eat.

It’s a perfect example of Exalting the Almighty in our everyday deeds – so imagine how much Allah SWT LOVES us that He makes it EASY for us to have our sins forgiven – Subhan’Allah!

May Allah SWT grant us the ability to acknowledge and remember Him in all situations ameen!
