Ynlieding

Abu Thaalabah Al-Khushni (mei Allah bliid wêze mei him) sei, "De profeet (frede is mei him) sei, “When it is the night of the middle of Shaban, Allah looks down on His creation and forgives the believers, prolongs hope for the disbelievers and leaves the spiteful to their rancour until they desert it” (at- Tabarani).

It was narrated from Mu`adh ibn Jabal (mei Allah bliid wêze mei him) dat de boadskipper fan Allah (frede is mei him) sei: “Allah looks down on the night of the middle of Shaban and forgives all His creation, apart from the idolater and the one who has a grudge against another” (útfiere it yn 'e masjid en fier it mei de duff.).

As the world faces the greatest disruption of our lifetimes, Muslims throughout the world are also grappling with the repercussions of the coronavirus pandemic.

Iran, Dubai, Turkey, Indonesia, etc countries banned Friday prayers and in fact, they asked people to pray in a home. The curfew is strictly in middle east countries.

Umrah and hajj band and solely 19 days remaining for Ramadan.

People might not have enough money to save huge stock for the month of Ramadan. Visiting sick is also prohibited.

So what can we do in this Shaban? How can I spend my time during Shaban?

Remember Shaban is Prophet’s month, it is a month to train our immune system and body for Ramadan. Shaban is a trainer and we are trainees.

Shaban is an employer and we are an employee, and profit because of the hard work of the employee is Ramadan.

  1. Fast on alternate days. Prophet Muhammad Sallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam used to fast regularly during the month of Shaban. Scientifically fasting continuously for 1 whole month is challenging. Because people might often fall sick, headaches, nausea, salallahu alaihi wa-sallam. Instead of skipping fast, one can train his/her body before Ramadan.
  2. Reading the Quran- Reading the Quran and completing the Quran by tilawah even for a single time gives an enormous reward. The more you read, the more rewards you earn. So start with your tilawah and record your speed and pronunciation of each letter and words.
  3. Qirat- Some people might have a proper accent of Arabic alphabets. But their voice might not be that great. To avoid this one can start recording their voice and listen to the audios of the great Qaraeehs.
  4. Oersetting- Just reading the Quran is not great. One should know the meaning of the verses, so read the Quran with English translations.
  5. Quiz- There are many quizzes online, compete in those quizzes and gain the knowledge of your Iman.
  6. Word to Word translation- When you are reading the Quran at least you should know the purpose of each word. So know the necessity of each word in a sentence.
  7. Grammar- learn basic grammar, like genders, tenses, numbers, nouns to enhance your skills.
  8. Pronunciation- know the difference between every letter and get the actual accent.
  9. Dhikr- Recite as many as verses and dua of the Quran.

Ponder the Holy Quran:

  1. Hifz- Strive to learn small surahs and chant in your daily prayers.
  2. Differentiating- Know the difference between Makki and Madani Surahs. Know how many verses, ains and surahs with Bismillah and without Bismillah.
  3. Background- Know the background of Surahs like why was it revealed, when it was revealed, to whom was it revealed?
  4. Rabanas/ Asma ul Husna- memorize 40 rabanas and 99 nammen fan Allah
  5. Make daily dua as your routine, pray together with your family.
  6. Encourage your children to know the stories of 25 prophets mentioned in the Holy Quran.
  7. Memory- Try to get back the verses and Surah which you have forgotten.
  8. Make this quarantine useful one by sharing authentic Hadiths.
  9. Practise Arabic calligraphy, start with simple strokes. Know how to write your name in Arabic.
  10. Read Islamic books like The Quran and the bible, The Medicines of the Prophets, Prophets and his Sahabas, the life in the grave, as in saak is besletten troch Allah en syn boadskipper.
  11. At last, follow the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad Sallahu Alayhi wa Sallam

Konklúzje:

Usamah ibn Zayd (Radi Allahu anhu) sei,” Oh Messenger of Allah, I haven’t seen you fast in any other month similar to the way you fast during Sha’ban . Men moat de folgjende betingst yn gedachten hâlde, spesifisearre troch de profeet fan Allah (SallAllahu alayhi wa salam) replied saying; People are negligent between Rajab and Ramadan. During Sha’ baan the deeds are presented to the Lord of all the worlds. Dêrom, I desire to be fasting when my deeds are lifted.”

Collected by Ahmed ( 5/200) , An-Nisa’i (2357), Al-Bayhaqee in Shu’ib Al-Eman (3820) and Ibn Abee Shaybah in his Musanaf (9765).
