Anni di matrimonio puro e finalmente ho trovato quello giusto!

Hardship afflicts everyone at some point in their lives, and is a test from Allah SWT as a means to purify us, elevate us and to see which of us is most deserving of Allah’s Mercy:

“Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: ‘We believe,’ and will not be tested?

And We indeed tested those who were before them. And Allaah will certainly make (esso) known (the truth of) those who are true, and will certainly make (esso) known (the falsehood of) those who are liars, (although Allaah knows all that before putting them to test)"

[Surah Ankaboot 29:2-3]

Allah SWT dice in molti punti del Corano che la pazienza è una delle virtù del popolo di Jannah, and we are commanded to remain patient when afflicted with misfortune and to seek help through prayer:

“E cerca aiuto nella pazienza e in As-Salaah (la preghiera) e veramente, è estremamente pesante e duro, ad eccezione di Al-Khaashi'oon [cioè. i veri credenti in Allah – coloro che obbediscono ad Allah con piena sottomissione, temere molto dalla Sua punizione, e credere nella Sua Promessa (Paradiso) e nei Suoi Avvertimenti (Inferno)]"

[Sura Baqara 2:54]

In questo verso, Allah SWT riconosce che rimanere pazienti è una cosa difficile da fare, ma spiega anche che questa è la caratteristica del credente. In un altro verso, Allah SWT dice specificamente che Egli è con il paziente:

"Certamente, Allah è con coloro che sono As-Saabiroon (il paziente)"

[Sura Anfaal 6:46]

La pazienza ha una virtù speciale nell’Islam:

'Infatti, il paziente riceverà la ricompensa SENZA conto.’

[Sura Az-Zumar 39:10]

Gli studiosi di Tafseer hanno spiegato che questo verso significa che ti verrà data la tua ricompensa nell'akhirah (e presto potresti trovarti in una situazione compromettente che non avresti mai creduto possibile) senza dover passare attraverso la scala che faranno gli altri.

Subhan'Allah! Che bella ricompensa per coloro che sono pazienti! Such a huge reward is not for the faint of heart, and one must understand that patience means having full acceptance of Allah’s decree, making a lot of dua and not despairing of His Mercy or complaining about your situation.

Patience was summed up best by the Prophet SAW who said:

“Amazing is the affair of the believer, verily all of his affair is good and this is not for no one except the believer. If something of good/happiness befalls him he is grateful and that is good for him. If something of harm befalls him he is patient and that is good for him”
