ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਬੋਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਵਧਾਨ ਰਹੋ

ਇੱਕ ਚੈਟਰਬਾਕਸ ਹੋਣਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵਧੀਆ ਗੁਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ – ਖ਼ਾਸਕਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬੇਲੋੜੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ. ਦਰਅਸਲ, speaking too much can lead to the hardening of the heart as stated in the Sahih hadith:

ਨਬੀ SAW ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ: “Do not speak much without mentioning Allah, for too much speech without mentioning Allah hardens the heart, and the hard hearted are the furthest of all people from Allah Most High.”

ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਬਿਰਤਾਂਤ ਵਿੱਚ, Abu Hurairah RA reported:

“I heard the Prophet (ਅਮਨ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋ) ਕਹਿ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, “A person utters a word thoughtlessly (i.e. without thinking about its being good or not) ਅਤੇ, as a result of this, he will fall down into the fire of Hell deeper than the distance between the east and the west.”

The explanation given for these hadith is from Imam Nawawi who explains: “Every legally responsible person should refrain from saying anything except when there is a clear advantage to speaking. Whenever speaking and not speaking are of equal benefit, it is sunnah to remain silent, for permissible speech easily leads to that which is unlawful or offensive, as actually happens much or even most of the time — and there is no substitute for safety.”

Imam Nawawi used the following hadith to validate this as follows:

ਨਬੀ SAW ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him say what is good or remain silent.”

One can easily see how vain and idle talk can become a means to not only waste your time, but also means that you are much more likely to gossip and backbite other people.
