Entra Jannah sem contar!

Hardship afflicts everyone at some point in their lives, and is a test from Allah SWT as a means to purify us, elevate us and to see which of us is most deserving of Allah’s Mercy:

“Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: ‘We believe,’ and will not be tested?

And We indeed tested those who were before them. And Allaah will certainly make (isto) known (the truth of) aqueles que são verdadeiros, and will certainly make (isto) known (the falsehood of) those who are liars, (although Allaah knows all that before putting them to test)”

[Surah Ankaboot 29:2-3]

Allah SWT diz em muitos lugares no Alcorão que a paciência é uma das virtudes do povo de Jannah, and we are commanded to remain patient when afflicted with misfortune and to seek help through prayer:

“E procure ajuda com paciência e As-Salaah (a oração) e verdadeiramente, é extremamente pesado e duro, exceto para Al-Khaashi'oon [ou seja. os verdadeiros crentes em Allah - aqueles que obedecem a Allah com total submissão, temer muito do Seu castigo, e acreditar em sua promessa (Paraíso) e em Seus Avisos (Inferno)]”

[Sura Baqarah 2:54]

Neste verso, Allah SWT reconhece que permanecer paciente é uma coisa difícil de fazer, mas também explica que esta é a marca do crente. Em outro verso, Allah SWT diz especificamente que Ele está com o paciente:

"Certamente, Allah está com aqueles que são As-Saabiroon (o paciente)”

A paciência tem uma virtude especial no Islã:

'De fato, o paciente receberá sua recompensa SEM conta.'

[Surata Az-Zumar 39:10]

Os estudiosos de tafseer explicaram este versículo para significar que você receberá sua recompensa no akhirah (e você pode em breve se encontrar em uma situação comprometedora que você nunca imaginou ser possível) sem ter que passar pela escala que outras pessoas vão.

Subhan'Allah! Que bela recompensa para aqueles que são pacientes! Such a huge reward is not for the faint of heart, and one must understand that patience means having full acceptance of Allah’s decree, making a lot of dua and not despairing of His Mercy or complaining about your situation.

Patience was summed up best by the Prophet SAW who said:

“Amazing is the affair of the believer, verily all of his affair is good and this is not for no one except the believer. If something of good/happiness befalls him he is grateful and that is good for him. If something of harm befalls him he is patient and that is good for him”
